Rose Marie LaBate, 69, of International Falls, Minnesota passed away after a 14 month battle with pancreatic cancer on Friday, January 21, 2022 at Rainy Lake Medical Center.

Rose was born May 18, 1952 at Robbinsdale, Minnesota to Lester and Donna Hughes.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Donna Hughes; siblings, Lester, Fred, Patrick and Wendy and sons, Edward and Phillip.

She is survived by significant other, Don Little; her kitty, Midnight; Don’s children and families, nieces and nephews; brother, Jack and sisters, Becky, June and Janette.

Rose enjoyed walks, fishing from the shore for pan fish, flying model airplanes and word seek puzzles. Don and Rose have lived in Ham Lake, Ely, Lake Havasu City, Arizona and International Falls.

No services will be held at this time, a celebration of life to be held at a later date.
