Jonathan (Jon) Edward Earl Buhl was born June 3, 1969. He died February 12, 2022. Jon was born in Mpls. MN to parents Mary Griffin Buhl and Wm. Tim Buhl Schlosser.

Jon attended K-10th grades in International Falls, MN. He graduated from high school in 1987 at Hermantown High School, Hermantown, MN. Jon attended the U of Duluth. He became a machinist. He was employed through Aerotech, St. Paul, MN. In 1990 Jon became father to his beautiful daughter, Briana Moore. Jon married Jackie Mankoski on Nov. 5, 2010. South St. Paul, MN. He then became stepfather to Sam and Phillip Mankoski.

Jon enjoyed the outdoors and many good times on Rainy Lake. Jon enjoyed cooking and grilling with his family. He especially enjoyed eating their creations. Jon studied the Hebrew language and the Bible, made realistic charcoal drawings and was a weightlifter. Jon loved animals, but especially the family dog, Charlie. Jon will be missed by family and friends.

Jon was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ethel and Irvin Griffin, father, Wm. Tim Buhl Schlosser, sister, Jennifer Buhl and brother, Jeremiah (Jay) Buhl.

Jon is survived by his daughter, Briana Moore, Blaine MN, wife Jackie Mankoski Buhl, So. St. Paul MN, stepsons Patrick and Sam Mankoski, So. St. Paul MN, mother Mary Griffin Buhl, Int’l Falls MN, sister Jani Buhl Taylor, Longview TX, Uncle Roger (Becky) Griffin, Int’l Falls MN, Aunt June Ryden, Rockford IL, and several nieces and nephews.

There will be a graveside service at Forest Hill Cemetery, Int’l Falls MN, Saturday, May 28th at 11:00 AM.
