Jeffrey Ervin Boyum, 69, died February 23, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Duluth after a short illness. A family memorial service will take place at a later date.

Jeff was born on November 11, 1952 in Petersburg, Virginia to Ervin and Muriel (Larson) Boyum. He graduated from Falls High School in 1971 and spent most of his years in sales.

Jeff lived most of his life in Minneapolis and Arizona and moved back to International Falls, with his faithful dog, Pita, in 2013.

Jeff had a very kind heart and loved to talk sports; especially hockey and will be missed by his family. He is survived by his stepdaughter Heather Stillwell; brothers, Dale (Mary) Boyum and Kurt (Cindy) Boyum; cousins, Nan Sether and Brenda (Paul) Hjelle and many nieces and nephews.

Memorials in Jeff’s honor may be sent to the American Heart Association, Alcoholics Anonymous or Friends of the Falls Public Library.
