Paul Daniel Griffith unexpectedly passed away on March 4th, 2022.

He was born on February 15, 1955 to Myron and Beulah (Northrup) Griffith in International Falls where he spent his entire life.

He married Cindy (Gorder) right after high school. They had two daughters Brandy & Sara before getting divorced.

Paul was kind, generous and had a canny sense of humor. He was content to live a simple life and was an avid reader. He enjoyed playing cribbage, camping, hunting and going to his Dooflinker’s shack with his best bud, Randy (Besch). He also enjoyed his annual ice-fishing trip with the guys to Lake of the Woods and to his brother’s cabin in Hackensack.

He worked 44 years at Boise in the Power and Recovery department. He enjoyed planning and cooking large meals with his shift. He really enjoyed steak dinners!

He was proud of his family especially becoming “Grampa” to Asher (8), Zeke (5) and Lexi (19).

He will be missed by his survivors, daughters, Brandy Erholtz (Matt, Asher, Zeke), Sara Lowinski (Correy, Lexi); sisters, Marge (Frank), Cindy; brother, Tim; and life-long friends Randy and Jane Besch.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jack; and sister-in-law, Sue.

Visitation will be on Thursday March 10th at 10:00 at Green Larsen Funeral Home followed by the funeral at 11:00.
