Larry Trask

Larry Trask, 92, peacefully passed away on Friday, March 11th, at Good Samaritan Center.

Son of Vernon and Andrea, Larry was drafted into the Army and served two years at Fort Hood.

Larry owned Larry’s Superette and was employed with Boise Cascade for 36 years.

Larry married Doris Anderson, March of 1951.

Larry, Doris and their four kids spent every July packed in the station wagon, touring the US and visiting various state parks. Doris always made sure that they stayed somewhere with a pool for the kids. They also took frequent trips to Lake of the Wood, Provincial Park, and the Minnesota State Fair.

Some of Larry’s fondest memories came from the family cabin in Canada where they gathered with family and friends for fishing, card games, saunas, and laughter.

Over their lifetime, Larry & Doris visited various countries, took many cruises, and spent winters in AZ.

Larry is preceded in death by his son David Trask, daughter Lori Badiuk, and grandson Anthony Trask.

Larry is survived by his wife of 71 years, Doris Trask, daughter Pamela Jewell, son Steven (Nancy) Trask, 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Dual funeral services will be held for Larry Trask & daughter, Lori Badiuk at Zion Lutheran Church on Saturday, March 19th at 11:00AM. The service will be available to view online via the Zion Lutheran Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/ZionLutheranIFalls/ A visitation will be held at 10AM at Zion Lutheran Church prior the funeral service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials will be donated to the Alzheimer’s Association.
