Jacqueline Lee Street, 66, of Littlefork, MN passed away on April 17, 2022 at Rainy Lake Medical Center in International Falls, MN.
She was born December 14, 1955 in Bemidji, MN to parents Ronnie and Sharon Anderson. She was the first born of seven siblings. She loved to spoil her brothers and sisters when they were young, and continued to look out for them until the moment she passed.
Jackie grew up in Littlefork, and graduated from Little-fork-Big Falls High School. In her younger years, she worked at the Littlefork Hospital. Once her children began attending school, she returned to work at Kootasca in International Falls. She eventually began working as an Early Childhood Educator for the Head Start Program. She made many friends while working there. After she retired, many of her co-workers would continue to stop by. She loved sharing laughs with them over coffee.
Jackie was married to her lifelong love, Duane Street, for 46 years. The first time she saw Duane, she was sitting on a swing set at Promersberger’s Logging Camp, where both of their dads worked. She was just four years old. She said she always knew she would marry him someday. Ten years later they began dating, and married in 1976.
Jackie was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. If her family needed help, she was often the first to volunteer. She cherished spending time with her family, especially during the Christmas season. She was well known for decorating her home with multiple Christmas lights in order to make it special for her family. We will all hold those Christmas memories dear to our hearts. She also loved working on her flower gardens, spending time at the shack, and doing various home improvement projects so her family would have a relaxing and comfortable place to visit. Most of all, Jackie loved when her four “buds”, grandsons Reece, Brady, Cade, and Logan would come to see her. She babysat them often and spent many hours rocking them, reading to them, and playing with them in the yard when they were young. They each have a special and unique relationship with their “Grammie” and will treasure their time spent with her.
Jackie is preceded in death by her parents, Ronnie and Sharon Anderson; brother, Jeffrey Anderson; brother-in-law, Richard Street; and sister-in-law, Gwen Street.
She is survived by her loving husband, Duane Street; son, Jason Street; daughter, Jamie (Aaron) Pesek; grandsons, Reece, Cade, Brady, and Logan; sisters, Jodie (Greg) Johnson, Jeannie Jean (Del); and brothers, Joel (Jean) Anderson, Jerry (Cleo) Anderson, and Jon (Janet) Anderson; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
A memorial service for family and friends will be held at the Littlefork Lutheran Church on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at 1:00 PM.
