LaVerne Ann Geer, 90, of International Falls, Minnesota, died on April 26, 2022 at the Good Samaritan Society – International Falls.

LaVerne was born on November 1, 1931 in International Falls to Albert and Selma (Frahm) Linder.

The former LaVerne Ann Linder was united into marriage to Daniel Geer on January 6, 1950.

She worked for the telephone company as a telephone operator and also had a career in nursing.

She was president of the Falls Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, president of the Ladies of the Moose, and a member of the Ladies VFW Auxiliary and St. Thomas League.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Selma Linder; husband, Daniel J. Geer; son, Michael Geer; granddaughter, Danyell D. Miller; great-grandson, Quinten Robert Campbell; sister, Marion J. (Mac) Stevens; and nephew, Robert Earley.

LaVerne is survived by her son, David A. (Cheryl) Geer, daughters, Sharon M. (Bob) Walker, Mary S. (Duane) Fish; ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; brother, Al (Wanda) Linder; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church on Saturday April 30, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will begin one hour prior to service time.
