Joyce E. Roppe, 75, of Fayal Township died Thursday, April 28, 2022 at New Journey Residence in Biwabik, Minnesota. She was born on January 18, 1947 in Fort Frances, Canada to Roy and Dolores M. (Schneider) Servis. Joyce attended school in International Falls and was united in marriage to Gale L. Roppe on August 6, 1963 in International Falls. They moved and made their home on the Iron Range in 1966.

Joyce had worked as a teller supervisor and retired as office manager for the former Erickson-Holbeck Dental Office. She was a member of Resurrection Catholic Church and enjoyed gardening, fishing and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughters, Cindy (Neil) Stanaway and Mandy (David) Johnson; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, RaeLene (Jim) Tyner and brothers, Fred Servis and Roy Servis.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gale; parents and brother, Brian Servis.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, May 16, 2022 in Resurrection Catholic Church, Eveleth. Celebrant will be Fr. Justin Fish. Visitation will begin at 12 noon at the church.
