Sherwin Taylor

Sherwin “Tank” Taylor, our favorite garbage man was born March 10, 1969 in International Falls, MN to Alice Patch and Sherman Taylor, Sr. Sherwin lived in International Falls, MN all of his life.

Sherwin was always willing to lend a helping hand and his infectious smile to anyone that needed it. He was incredibly goofy and always ready to have a fun time. He was an excellent card player (and he let his kids win every once and awhile). He loved camping and fishing although he spent a lot of time fixing rods for his kids and grandkids. He was an excellent cook and had many specials that were created for his family, whom he loved very much. He could be found Monday morning having coffee with his coffee buddies. Sherwin could be found in his spare time in his orange truck collecting scrap metal. He was a collector of antiques and cars.

Sherwin is preceded in death by his father, Sherman Taylor, Sr.; brother, Sherman Taylor, Jr.; sisters, Ronda Bates, Sharon Gilbertson; brother-in-law, Ray Gleason; and his father-in-law, Warren Dahl.
