Leone “Bunny” Adele Katrin

Leone “Bunny” Adele Katrin, 87, of International Falls, Minnesota, died on Friday, May 27, 2022 at the Good Samaritan Society – International Falls.

Bunny was born on September 22, 1934 in International Falls to parents, Albert and Gladys (Hafdahl) Palm.

She was united in marriage to Alex Katrin.

Bunny was most recently retired, and before was a homemaker, and preceded by working as a clerk at City Drug.

Bunny loved to travel, shop, read, bake, feed all the wild animals, and give treats to the neighborhood pets. Bunny enjoyed family gatherings and visits with friends and neighbors. Her buns, croissants, and baked goods were always a hit. She was proud of her Norwegian heritage and so enjoyed the Loman Lutheran Lutefisk dinners with cousin Hunts and Marlene Wagner.

She was also proud of her Loman and Fairland roots. Most of all, she was a kind, loving soul and cared deeply for her family and pets.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Gladys (Hafdahl) Palm; husband, Alex Katrin; grandson, Andrew Katrin; brother, Larry Palm; and brother and sister-in-law, Lowell and Dorothy Blais.

Bunny is survived by her sons, Michael (Jill) Katrin, Randy (Breanne) Katrin; daughter, Tammy (Danny) Mabry; three grandchildren, Angie (Dan) Bokovoy, Jacquelyn Robinson, Jessica Mabry; six great grandchildren, Abigail, Emma, and Clara Bokovoy, Morgan Bryant, Athena Latham, Gabrielle Latham; special friend and neighbor Evelyn Borg; and caregiver and friend, Maureen Jackson.

Special thanks to the employees of the Good Samaritan Society for the care and love they gave Bunny.
