On the morning of July 22, 2022 Mary went home to be with the Lord after a courageous battle with cancer. Mary was born in Mankato, MN on December 2, 1946. Mary later moved to Littlefork where she attended school. It was there she met and married her high school sweetheart Larry Keep. They were married on September 16, 1966 and had two sons Larry Allen and Michael. They lived in Minneapolis for several years before returning to the Littlefork area. They shared their love and marriage of 55 years together.

Mary worked at the local Hardware store, was a teacher’s aide in the preschool program at Littlefork Elementary and various other jobs where she enjoyed working and socializing with the public.

Mary’s love was spending time with her family. Her happiest times were babysitting and spending time with the grandkids and cheering them in all their activities. Mary was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, camping, reading and traveling in their motorhome.

Mary was a kind person and always put others before herself. She was a special person and will be missed by her family and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her father-in-law Clarence L. Keep and nephew Kyle Keep.

Mary is survived by her loving husband Larry, sons Larry A. Keep of International Falls, Michael Keep (Jill) of Littlefork, MN, grandchildren Kelsea, Cambria and Asher, mother-in-law Eva Keep, brother-in-law Roger Keep, sister-in-law Sandy Jo Kennedy (Jim), Shelly Keep and many nieces and nephews. A special thank you to her family and friends for all the love and support.

A memorial service will take place Thursday August 11, 2022 at 1:00 PM at the Littlefork Baptist Church.
