Gabriel Arthur ‘Gabe’ Sandstrom, 51, of Round Rock, Texas, passed away on September 21, 2021, from complications of long term diabetes.

Gabe was born in International Falls, Minnesota, on May 7, 1970, to Robert and Dorthy (Mattson) Sandstrom, the youngest of five.

As a child, Gabe moved with his parents to Weatherford, Oklahoma, East Grand Forks, Minnesota and Chaska, Minnesota.

Eventually he made his way to Texas where he spent the remainder of his years.

With the help of his brother Bill, Gabe found what would become a life-time career working in various aspects of the printing industry until he retired due to disability.

Gabe loved his family, friends, motorcycles, the Minnesota Vikings, dogs, gaming, fishing, manning the BBQ and Texas winters. He was a simple man with a big heart.

Gabe was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Dorthy Sandstrom, sister Ronda Tilander and niece Colleen Nickerson. He is survived by children Gabe Sandstrom of Jordan, MN; Breanna Sandstrom of Woodlands, TX; Brittney Charwood of Minneap-olis, MN; Jakob (Ashton) Sandstrom of Georgetown, TX; Tyler (James Graham) Sandstrom of Georgetown, TX, and Noah Sandstrom of Round Rock, TX; grandchildren Kiley, Colton, Jaiden, Grant, Thea and Wyatt; brothers Robert of Ash Lake, MN; Douglas (Deb) of Mesa, AZ; William (Sharon) of Las Vegas, NV; brother-in-law Alan Tilander of Spooner, WI; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at 11 a.m. at the Ranier Community Building in Ranier, MN. Interment will be at St. Thomas Cemetery, International Falls, MN.
