Jeanette Lorraine White, 88, of International Falls, Minnesota, died on Monday, October 17, 2022 at the Good Samaritan Society-International Falls.
Jeanette was born on October 12, 1934 in Hallock, MN, to parents, Gust and Blanche (Carlson) Agman.
Jeanette worked as a waitress in cafes in Hallock, and did kitchen work at Keine Farm in Kennedy, MN. She also worked at the nursing home in Hallock.
She was united in marriage to Damon White on December 8, 1951. They moved to International Falls in 1954. After Damon’s passing, she later married Collins Clinton on August 8, 1988.
Jeanette enjoyed knitting, reading, camping, fishing, watching hockey, and making chocolate eclairs, caramel rolls, and brownies. She liked to spend time with her family and babysit the grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Damon in 1985: her second husband, Collins in 2001; sister, Rose; brother, Lloyd; infant son, Mark; infant daughter, Annette; grandson, Derek White; and great-grandson, Julian Kittelson.
Jeanette is survived by her son, Dale (Susan) White; daughters, Deborah (Brian) Kittelson, Diane (John) Mattson; step-sons, Greg (Diane) Clinton, Bruce Clinton, Scott (Elaine) Clinton, Brent Clinton; stepdaughters, Doreen (David) Skappel, Colette (Bob) Pede; grandchildren, Adam Kittelson, Andy (JoJean) Kittelson, Nick (Jenna) Kittelson, Ryan (Melanie) Kittelson, Kristal (Jasen) Mayfield, Stacy (Dwayne) Strom, Courtney (A.J.) Knutson; step-grandchildren, Alesha Meyer, Heather (Shawn) Hamilton, Matt (Beth) Clinton, Denise (Andy) Clinton, Travis Clinton, Cody Clinton; fifteen great-grandchildren; five step-greatgrandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and special niece, Sally (Cory) Poole.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 28, 2022 at 11:00 am at the Evangelical Covenant Church. A visitation will be held one hour prior.
Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the compassionate caregivers at the Good Samaritan Society-International Falls.
