Eugene Paul Locey, 58, of International Falls, Minnesota, died on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at the Rainy Lake Medical Center in International Falls, MN.

Eugene was born March 20, 1963 to Lyle and Irene Locey. He married Becky Jackson on June 24, 2000.

Throughout his life, Eugene was an auto-mechanic, cab driver, and bartender.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bear guiding, processing meat. He loved going to the cabin on Rainy Lake, going for rides to the hunting shack, and bowling at Border Bowl where he also bartended. He could fix anything. He was a friend to everybody and would do anything for anyone.

Eugene was preceded in death by his parents, Irene and Lyle Locey; grandparents, Anna and Paul Morken; son, Ronnie Locey; sisters, Debbie Julien, Linda Zawchenuk; brother-in-law, Mike Zahn Sr.; and uncle, Melvin Morken.

He is survived by his wife, Becky Locey; son, Mike Fisher; daughter, Sabra Fisher; grandchildren, Evan Fisher, Landin Shevich, and Lynnea Shevich; sisters, Terri Zahn and Laurie (Steve) Janttie; nephews, Mike Zahn Jr., Jeff (Carmen) Zahn, Nick (Haley) Janttie, Ryan Julien, Marcus Zawchenuk, Jed Kittelson, Quintin Kittelson, Howard Kittelson, and Jeremiah Ruedger; nieces, Lacey (James) Kaminski, Britny Janttie, Jessica Zahn, Berri (Mitch) Lavern, Taylor Zawchenuk, Grace Cameron, Leah (Robb) Davis, and Hannah (Jake) Ruelle.

A Celebration of Life was held on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at the Elks Lodge in International Falls from 1:00 pm- 3:00 pm.
