Give some thought to sharing about what is needed to strengthen your community. A county-wide needs assessment is underway through August 30 with the goal of identifying opportunities where the resources of the University of Minnesota Extension can support and enhance local resources to improve life in Koochiching County.
We want to hear from people who live, work and visit Koochiching County. Not only will you be invited to share examples of the pressing concerns you have about living in Koochiching County, but also to identify what you believe people need in order to thrive in this place. Once information has been gathered from across the county, respondents will be invited to rank those ideas and eventually to share their ideas on how to address the most pressing needs.
Consider taking 5-10 minutes of your time to share at z.umn.edu/Koochiching2024 before August 30, 2024.
This needs assessment is sponsored by the Koochiching County Extension Committee, whose purpose is to promote educational programs available from University of Minnesota Extension. For this project they are working in partnership with UMN Extension Department of Community Development staff John Bennett, community economics educator, and Jody Horntvedt, leadership and civic engagement educator.
