Tony Arnold Hell 73, of ij Littlefork Minnesota, passed away peacefully on September 6, 2022 at his home with his loving, caring and dedicated wife by his side, along with his 3 amazing children. Tony’s battle with cancer was difficult, but he fought with everything he had and never gave up. He was the strongest man anyone knew.“ Tony was bom December 10, 1948 in Olga North Dakota to Wilbert and Fern (Fultz) Hell. He was the 3rd child of 13.
Tony attended school in International Falls. He worked at Boise Cascade until retirement in 2011. He met the love of his life, Christine Berg, at the Littlefork fair. Chris (Tina-the only name Tony called her), was on the ferris wheel, she looked down at him and said to her friend, “I am going to marry that man” and she did. September 2nd of this year was the 55th wedding anniversary. They had the type of love that everyone couldn’t help but notice and feel when they were around them.
Tony and Tina had 3 children, Destry, Tina, and Dustin. Each one they loved more than anything. Tony’s passion was his farm. He lived, worked and breathed farming. Multiple times a day he would go check on his “girls” with the biggest smile on his face every time. Tony’s favorite thing to do was to take each of his grandkids as they were growing up, out to the bam to see the cows and feed them, and each of the grandkids loved it. He also loved hunting, fishing, camping and spending time out at the shack playing cards and teaching everyone how to play poker. He was absolutely amazing at cards and you never knew what his next move was going to be, but when he did it, he had his sly smile and giggle that made everyone laugh.
Tony’s knowledge about things was unbelievable. He was the easiest person to talk to about anything. He had the most caring and reassuring voice that no matter what the outcome of the situation was going to be, everything was going to be just fine and not to worry.
Tony is preceded in death by his parents, Wilbert and Fem; and brothers Dennis, Lee, Steven and John Hell.
Tony is survived by his beautiful wife, Tina; children Destry (Heather) Hell, Tina Hell (Brian Kotraba), Dustin (Carlie) Hell; Granddaughter’s Desirae Belanger, Makenzie Hell, Madelyn Hell, and baby girl Hell due in December. Grandson’s Caleb Belanger, Devon Reller, Mitchell Hell, and Lincoln Hell. Great grandson Liam Belanger. Brother’s Roy Hell, Terry Hell and Jeff Hell. Sister’s Linda Zallar, Connie Boorman (Mark), Wanda Grashom, Nancy Ruport (Tim), and Faye Morken (Edward), and many, many niece’s and nephew’s.
Tony, you will be missed by all of us. No services will be held. Family and friend’s gathered on Friday, September 9, 2022 at the Littlefork VFW to honor Tony.
